Vic and I are proposing a “Winter” ramble on Monday the 29th December (Scotty says a walk and fresh air between Boxing Day and New Year is a great time to get over the excesses of Christmas!!)

The proposed ramble is the 5 mile circular Three Commons Walk which encompasses Hayes Common, Keston Common and West Wickham Common.

We will have restricted daylight hours so ideally the meet will be Hayes (Kent) Station at 10.45am. For those coming by car I will indicate free parking areas nearer the time.

The walk will take about three and a half hours and will incorporate a drinks break at the Greyhound Pub in Keston. Once back in Hayes we propose going to the New Inn (opposite the station) for a meal.
