After an enforced absence in November and December due to a combination of weather and oppo drop outs, COXA Vets returned to Carshalton to play league leaders Claygate on 10th January. A goal from James Allen was not enough to avoid defeat despite Claygate having a man sent off just before half time. The long lay off did no favours for COXA, who will need to work on their match fitness, positional discipline and communication.

To date, the Vets have been competitive, winning four league games and losing just once but are out of both the league and county cups this season.
