PLEASE NOTE: If you haven't already done so, all users should practice good security hygiene and take the opportunity to reset their Pitchero password replacing it with a strong password, at least 12 characters in length, that is not used on any other websites, apps or systems.
Letter from Pitchero CTO & Co-Founder:
As reported in the news globally, there was a significant security issue affecting the programming language PHP, which is used by almost 70% of websites worldwide, including the main Pitchero system.
Pitchero staff were quick to react to the reports and as a proactive, preventive measure we decided to take the Pitchero system offline to protect our systems and all customer data, before restoring service as soon as it was safe to do so.
Frustratingly, this meant that we incurred a period of downtime whilst we did the necessary work. Regular updates were provided via our status page during the downtime.
Full service availability was restored on Wednesday 21st October 2026 at 23:45 BST.
