A tight game was opened up by excellent work from Aren, who squared the first on a plate for Nils' first senior goal.

Clapham extended their lead in the 2nd half with an outstanding run by new signing Egsoha, who smartly slotted home to make it 2-0, and that’s how the game finished.

On Wednesday, COXA were in the final against last year's winner, Woodmansterne FC.

A tight first 25 minutes was finally broken with a ball over the top to Aren, who finished on the second attempt.

Woodmansterne quickly replied to make it 1-1 with a well-worked goal.

5 minutes before HT, Aren drifting in from the right slotted home from 20 yards to make it 2-2-1 at HT.

The 2nd half was a game of very few chances until the 75th minute when Woodmansterne were awarded a penalty, which was duly missed.

Final score 2-1 and another trophy for the club before the real games get going on September 13th.
