St Anselm's in Tooting was packed full with Mick's family, friend's and the local congregation. About a dozen Old Xaverians were also there to celebrate with Mick and he was delighted with their attendance. He was very humble and yet Mick has not lost his "impish" sense of humour! He made his maiden speech from the pulpit with great confidence.

Amongst those attending included Colin Garvey, Eddie O'Brien, Scotty Macdonald, Ben Benedict, Seamus Burke [and wife], [Brendan Kearns was in the choir & M.C.], one of the Cernuski's was in the congregation [Joe?], Matt Benedict arrived with his family.
Over a "Budweiser" in the reception Mick was shocked at the presence of his "old school chums" and told everybody, he promised to get to the Chairman's Lunch in 2014..
Another great Old Xaverian event
