Old Suttonions started a place above us in the league without losing at home all season, albeit had played a game more.

Early exchanges were tight for both sides, with both teams missing great opportunities to take the lead.

15 mins before half time Old Suts took the lead with a well worked goal.

5 mins before half time COXA's Aren Stephens won a penalty which was slotted away by Joe Hart.

Going in to the 2nd half was much the same on a sticky pitch, but Clapham hard work paid off with a well worked goal. Good play down the wing crossed in by Andre and finished high in the goal by Aren Stephens.

Almost immediately Old Suts got back in it to make it 2-2 and set up a big final 25 minutes.

Clapham regained their composure playing the ball and got an excellent 3rd goal again created by Aren. It was now 3-2 with 20 mins to play.

5 mins later was a flash point in the game and Clapham were reduced to 10 men.

The chances kept coming for both sides but Clapham held on for a big 3 point win!

Now with 6 wins on the bounce COXA 1st's go in to Christmas with a huge 2nd half of the season to come.
