Message from Eddie O'Brien:
Ted Hayter has advised me today of the recent death of Denis Quin, a former COXA Chairman (1955-58), on Friday 14th August, aged 90 years old.
Denis died at home in Bromley and is survived by his wife Mary. He had been ill for several years with dementia. As yet there are no confirmed funeral details but due to the public health crisis the current regulations only permit a maximum 30 people to attend requiems.
If I hear of any further news I’ll let you know.
Please pray for Denis and keep Mary in your thoughts. May he rest in peace.
Eddie
Message from Colin Garvey:
It is sad news. For many years Denis was the heart of COXA - the Mass, prayer groups, football, cricket, dinner dances , and every Saturday in the Sussex . He was also a governor of Saint Francis Xavier for many years.
May he rest in peace.
Colin.
