It has been a tricky pre season for COXA Vets, with some transition in the squad and early season injuries and non availability. COXA Vets first league game however ended in an encouraging 4-1 away win, with a hatrick for Rico Smith and a good goal from Tim Groundwater. There were also strong performances from Matt Cefai, Spencer Grady, Adrian Nwags, Clive T and Duane Francis. Two trialists (ex SFX students Tom Webster and Rob G) impressed on debut. Steve Gordon skippered the side.

Next up is an away game vs Croxley on the 17th October followed by a home game vs Polytechnic at Carshalton on the 31st October. Support is welcome, especially for the home game.
