After some delicious wings and ribs and quite a few beers later, you can look at the game a tad more objectively. I was so pissed off with the game, I was thinking of not even writing a report...but that wouldn't have been fair on you.

Given the opening statement, you may have gathered that we suffered our first defeat of the season, ending our unbeaten run and our run of clean sheets.

Sometimes, things don't gel like they did the week before and the luck you had in the last few weeks goes, and whilst I don't doubt the effort from anyone...today was one of those days.

Jamie Morris opened the scoring with a close range finish from a corner. Business as usual we thought. But the Sedcopians pushed back and scored with a thunderous top bins finish.

We went into the half 2-1 up after some high pressing, winning the ball back and a slotted finish from the other Smith in the team, Jamie.

Coxa conceded 2 relatively sloppy goals to go 3-2 behind, and try as they might, they couldn't get a goal, having efforts cleared off the line, headers going inches over, shots millimetres wide.

During the 90 minutes of dross, there were some fun moments....Me....heading the ball...that's always fun. Jonesy, Sterny and Tommy all making some big air shots, Jamie Morris' yellow card for ripping the shirt off the other player and finally...the oppo subs getting wiped out by the flying subs bench when the weather took a turn for the worse.

If the day couldn't get any worse...the showers were hotter than the sun!

Let's hope for a quick bounce back next week..but seriously...fuck it.. it's good we are pissed off...means we expect better of ourselves and of course a 1 in the L column just grounds us and doesn't make us too big for our boots.

Peace.
