COXA 1st XI were away on Saturday to a strong Tensions side.

Missing 6 crucial players, the boys knew was always going to be a difficult game.

The game started at a frantic pace and COXA nudged in front after 10 mins, a lovely ball to
Andre down the wing was pulled across and the Tensions defender slide in to the finish in his own net.

COXA weathered the storm but after 25 mins Tensions got themselves level , with well taken shot after the lads could not clear their lines.

On the 35 min mark, COXA got themselves ahead the tireless Andre driving from the halfway line to slot home and make it 2-1.

Unfortunately the lads could not hold on till half time another corner in the box flicked on to make it 2-2

2nd Half:

Early in the 2nd half and Tenisions got themselves ahead with good work down the left hand side pulled across to make it 3-2

The game was tight until the 80th minute with a mistake at the back left Tenisions to break to make it 4-2.

Unfortunately pushing up late on and COXA conceded again.

Final score 5-2 ...tough day at the office.
