A good day was had by one and all with Tenisonians guest Terry Smith commenting.......... Great day at County Road yesterday. Wonderful hospitality provided to myself and all the Tenisons team.

They were really grateful to be each given a free drink at the bar. That was a lovely touch.

A hard fought game was won deservedly by Clapham and I hope you get the odd points you may need for promotion, I am sure you will.

Colin was in fine form as usual and I met a few Old Clapham players that I had not previously had the chance to speak to along with Eddie who is such a lovely man. Football is a great game for many reasons, but mainly the people you meet playing with and equally as important against.

It's amazing that the fiercest of enemies on the pitch can be friends off the pitch. I was hoping to leave at 6-30 but eventually left after 8 o'clock.

You are all doing your club proud and it gives me hope that we at Tenisons can keep things going and one day have as many people who care as you clearly have......(Thank you Terry)
