Sam Vennart played for the club between, 2004 - 2011. He played in the 3rd XI, reaching two cup finals and helping the team to promotion in two consecutive seasons before taking over the responsibility of captain. He did this roll for 3 seasons before work and family life meant that he stopped playing. This season he was keen to play for the vets, but sadly ill health prevented this.Our prayers go out to his family:

A reception will follow at the Molesey Boat Club, Barge Walk, East Molesey, KT8 9AJ
