This year in the region of 80 people were gathered in the College Chapel which had been beautifully prepared by SFX School Chaplain, Claire Colleran for COXA annual Remembrance Mass.

During the service Brian Saunders and Scotty Macdonald read out the names of the fallen from both world wars, as well as the new inscription "Remember too the unknown COXA soldiers known only to God"

Celebrant Canon Cronin who was ably assisted by Deacon Michael Carrucan, blessed the now three Roll of Honour boards as well as with the mounted ceramic poppies from the Tower of London.

Patrick O'Leary and his son Robert were there for the first time to see Gerald O'Leary’s name which had been recently added to the WWII Roll of Honour this year.

Other attendees included, Stella Flannery, David Leathem, Colin Garvey, Eddie O’Brien, Glyn Morris, Ted Hayter, Chris McLoughlin, Harry Mellor, Mick Power, Matt Benedict, and Richard Williams.

Afterwards, visitors, friends and families returned to the school canteen for tea, coffee and bacon rolls which were provided by Mark Preece.
