Hi Ramblers,
After the success of yesterdays Darent Wall Walk, I've delved into the 1936 COXA Walks and found.....
The Woldingham to Oxted Walk via Tandridge.
It's about 7 miles long, and as well as being a really attractive area [except for the crossing of the M25] it has tons of great pubs.
The potential first provisional date is Weds 16th June 2021
Please email me, if you can make this date....donmiamac1234@sky.com
If have too many "dissenters" I don't have a problem switching it to the Tues or Thursday...
We had two "new" Ramblers join us today .. Mick Powell [and Val] Brendan's friend....he's a bloke!
I have copied this email to as many walkers as I remember joining us in the past...if you can think of others please share.
Later this week I will "go firm" on the date...
This is a great COXA activity I want as many Xaverians as possible to have access to it, and join us...
Loved the walk, scenery and company today and we were blessed by the weather [and the Crown Public House]
Join us......until we next meet gain
Scotty
PS Dan Condon had train difficulties [he met Jim McQueeny] arrived an hour late and made up the time to join us for the final stretch .. a real trooper - well done Dan!!
