Five wins out of five...

Saturday 11th March - Today is as good a day as I can remember for COXA on the football front with five wins out of five. Am sure there were days before my time when we'd see so many Ws on the board but so rare for me.

1st XI beat Enfield Old Grammarians 1st XI 4-0 at Southfields.

2nd XI beat Meads 2-1 at Norbury, securing the Div 2 South title.

3rd XI won 8-2 away at Woking (who must be really sh1t these days!) to pull clear of relegation.

4th XI, ahh this 4th XI, beat Meads twice in a double header over in Chiswick. 8-0, 4-0.

Vets won 5-2, setting up a tasty VIP day in a few weeks.

As a result the clubhouse was busy and boisterous. Chris McLoughlin, what a tenure as Club Captain - you deserve the freedom of County Road!
